God is a good God! Had a wonderfully busy day. So I was bored out of my mind on saturday but Sunday I was so busy I kept wishing I could just be home and go to sleep :) Makes you thankful for the breaks you get :) If we all just were thankful for what we have each moment, life would be so different :)
Anyways, sunday I got up, cleaned my room so it too is nice of the feet and then drove the car to buy some stuff for the medical training before church :) I realized it took longer to get there then if I had taken my bicycle due to traffic and because the air-conditioning doesn't seem to be working anymore for some reason, I felt like I was almost as sweaty. :) Ahh the joys, but it was good to drive there. Soon I will be driving all over! Freedom! :)
Took longer than I thought and barely made it to church on time but still managed to find a good aisle seat. Worship was great as was the little talk on the beatitudes they do each week. There was a family from New Zealand singing instead of the sermon so I left and it was a good thing cause my motodop driver was so slow we would have been even later had I not left early to meet Kimmy. Her church they ended up getting out early cause worship went so long they didn't do a sermon. We went to eat at a vegetarian restaurant and as usual, we had a horrible dining experience. hehe! Kimmy and I never enjoy our food together! :) But we keep trying. My drink was great though! Then she took me a special ice-cream place. I kept saying I was full cause the lemon yogart sand ice had really filled me up, so much so that I couldn't even eat the meal I ordered :) But she really wanted to go and so we went. And I was so glad we did! It was a special ice-cream in a coconut place. They give you 4 scoops (tiny) in a coconut and have this saucy asian dessert mix down below and then you also get your coconut water to drink on the side! It's simply fabulous and although I was ready to burst at the seams, I was really glad we went. I can't wait to take Nolan and family when they come!
I have a volunteer who just arrived and so we met up. She was praying for something to work out in cambodia and I had asked God for helpers and she is perfect. So she is going to do everything that I have wanted to do, but is way down on my priority list! And she is excited about it! How cool is that! I really like her. I wasn't sure what she would be like since I knew next to nothing about her but she is the sweetest and we are going to get along great!!! If things work out, then she is even going to extend the training to one of the provinces. so YAY!
After that I met up with my friend Dilanga and we went to eat and then I got called away by Michael so we could inform the beer garden girls that we are starting class tomorrow! Pray for that cuase it starts today and I really want girls to come!!!
Thanks for all your prayers! Pray for my training tomorrow too! I am starting women's health and although I was confident on the first aid stuff since I have taught that before, I am a little more nervous about this!!
