Today was another fantastic day. Tiring but great.  Yesterday I so didn't want to prepare the last two lessons, but did at least one and hehe! today we only got through the 1st two! They had so many questions.  It was really good! Everyone said that these housemothers aren't were smart, but they are amazing! They ask good and appropriate questions and pick up the material so fast. I am impressed at every center and shelter I go to.  We went way over and so rushed home, ate and then went to pick up the gang.  The day before I had said I would do a little training. I had thought dehydration but figured simple hygeine would be better. So we did it and they loved it and learned really fast.  I love these kids.  One the way home two of them wanted to sing church songs, hehe! THey have learned only 3, we do the same ones every sunday but I guess they really do like them. 
Jodi stayed and worked while I cleaned the house and made it ready for the guest that will be coming soon.  Then we went to the intercontinental for dinner hehe! IT was great. Double baked bean burrito and a banana split hehe! :)
I'm tired but what a nice day.  Training tomorrow! :) pray for us plesae

Today was a busy busy day. Went to sleep super late yesterday arranging stuff and then work up early to get things ready and answer emails.  hehe! Just as I was going to sleep I saw a little mouse crawl under my closet.  But I was so tired I couldn't do anything but go to sleep.  Went looking for it today with a broom but couldn't find it.  I hope it isnt eating my clothes and how in the world does a mouse climb stairs.  Time to get a mouse trap.
Went to pick up the medical students and we were all running late.  The students were late, Jodi was late, Michael had forgotten, the center people were late and hehe! So i went and got gas and decided to be late too :)
When I was going over the stuff yesterday it was awful.  I wasn't happy at all with the talk, but today something just happened and the talk went really well.  It started off with really uncomfortable looking people.  The director took me aside and said it was because I had male medical students.  I couldn't ask them to leave, so I just asked them if they uncomfortable and one of the girls said no and then things changed.  This time I didn't hold back and they asked tons of questions and everything was great! I didn't get doen with the extra material I wanted but they learned everything really really well! better than I hoped and I was really happy with how it went! God is sooo good.
Got home in time to eat and do the dishes and then go get the girls. I was seriously ready to drop.  Went and picked up the kids and came back. We had just the right amount of people and teachers.  The other R came and he always comes when he wants to have some medical care.  He was worried again.  So finally I just asked, is someone in your family sick or did they die recently and that did it. I found out why he is so worried about nothing and was able to calm him down.  Praise God!  Class is great.  No one ever wants to leave hehe!
I was ready to drop but Jodi stayed so I sat downstairs and worked and it's amazing how much I got done! Praise God!! If she wouldn't have stayed I wouldn't have gotten my talk for tomorrow done.  I love how God works!

Yesterday was great.  We ended up having church and Michael shared and Ijust led songs. He was really into it and they all seemed to like it, especially our 18 year old.  I see now why L didn't come for so long and I had to make so many visits to her beer garden to get her to.  The last time I met her there I saw this girl sitting there and realized she was new and asked her to come too.  She just looked so young and innocent.  Yesterday as Michael was talking about perseverence and how it builds character and is good. I dont know what he was saying but she interrupted and said I used to believe that but now I dont.  It was sad... but at the end she believed - she had hope again and I love that! God is sooo good. 
The person who is trying to decide whether she wants to work with us or not came by with the easy to read books yesterday and she was such a blessing. She comes from an area that L and D are from. Yesterday when I went to get L and D they weren't there and when I called I felt like L was saying she wasn't there. I didn't have D's number and so when I got home with the rest of the gang and Michael called D, she said she wanted to come and so I went to get her, met Chenda on the way (the girl praying about whether she wants to help) and we went together to get D and guess who comes walking along beside her :) L was there too! And Chenda was talking to D in the back because L gets car sick and so they switched places and when D found out Chenda was from the village next to hers, she gave her a big hug (not cultural at all) and was sooo happy!
I just love how God works!
Went shopping at the market yesterday and found mangos! So happy! :)  Also in the morning I went to buy some stuff and sat at the yogart place to use their internet and eat yogart and for the last day or two I have been telling God I need help with my talks.  They aren't what I want them to be and while sitting there, He answered my prayer. I found just what I needed and Nolan helped me get it off the net so I can incorporate it into my talk!
Oh and D taught the medical students and I asked him to bring over the ones who want to start training and 4 came and they seemed excited! So yay!

God is great! things are great, class was great.  Spent the morning getting materials and getting forms for the center and chabdai stuff.  Made it home in time to drink water. I haven't been so close to passing out in a long time. Must have been hotter than I thought :)
Had just enough time to eat and drive off to get the gang. I was so happy cause L was ready adn waiting! So picked up the car load. 2 in the front with me, 5 or 6 in the back hehe! Class was great.  I started having R teach cause he is ahead of everyone and he enjoys it and so hehe! it's great to have another teacher at times when we are in a bind.  Michael is in the process of translating the computer stuff.  SN is awesome as a teacher and we may have another one soon! God willing! Gotto love God!
Michael is leading church tomorrow! I am so excited! :) More time to prepare for Chabdai. I lead the songs and he leads the message.  Let's see how everyone likes it :) Maybe he won't put people to sleep like I did last week! On the way back my car was singing the songs from church in preparation for tomorrow! I love K, she brightens up the car and the room!

God is good! So yesterday pretty much I watched as everyone taught. It was so beautiful to just watch and see what God has done.  He's brought teachers and students alike.  At the end of class, people didn't want to leave. They were having such a good time.  Srey Nith has the girls teaching the girls and the boys teaching the boys and they love it! I love it! Michael was teaching Ravi and Elizabeth was spending time one on one with our guy who has a speech impediment.  We have more guys than girls right now but we can start expanding soon I think.  Now that we have a core to teach.  :)
So I emailed one of my friends. It's interesting how the first 6 months are all making the next 6 months so blessed.  So I had a translator the 3rd time I came and when I came back this time he has had me help him with medical consults for the family and in his english class.  I didn't know it but he is the head of the english teaching department at NLF.  I had asked if people from the church would volunteer to teach since they just openned a branch near ours, but I think there were not takers so yesterday I asked if I could have some help with materials and he said come on by and get anything you want! So YAY! and one of the issues we have been having is that we don't have easy khmer/english translated songs for church and today we can probably get some from them.  So YAY!  I just love how God works and puts things together! :) 
I just feel like these days I just pray and leave it to God and he does it like that day or the next day, exactly what I asked for.  It's like being in Japan again, where I just have to trust and not do it in my own strength.  And I have been wondering why I can't do that, but finally I came to the end of my strength and it's beautiful to watch Him do it all again and me just watch His great handiwork from the sidelines.
Please pray for more teachers as our awesome Elizabeth has to leave.  Also we need to figure out our transportation issue.  The car is becoming too small to carry all those people.  Do I do a tuktuk? Do I make rounds with the car? Do we change locations and make it more central?  What does God want? What will be best?  Also L didn't show up and didn't answer her phone, so please pray for us to be able to locate her, cause I really like her coming. She came day before yesterday with her three exercise books, her, her picture of her and me and a huge smile.  She learned a lot and she shared a lot about her family.  It was really good!   Also, should I get a social worker??  So many things to think about but

God is a good God! Thank you everyone who has been
praying.  So finally L came from Happy holidays! Yesterday I was super tired but
I knew Jodi wanted to go to an outreach and all I could muster was inviting L
again. I had gone the day before and no one had showed. I was so tired I could
have fallen but wanted to give it one more shot and since Jodi is here for such
a short time, I want her to get a good experience.  So we went and it was great!
I got there and only the ice guy from the time I had gone was there.  I asked
him if he and L were coming and he said he was and hed tell L.  So I showed up
and he was there but she wasnt. So sad but I called her on my phone and he told
her to come and she came with another girl and it was so great.  So they all
know each other and L was as happy as could be.  I thought  she didnt want to
come, but she really did want to come and just needed someone to come with.  So
she came and was smiling away as she sat in the front seat. 


Yesterday as we ended I asked the two girls who had
come to help to stick around so we could talk and I told them that I wouldnt
make them lead teach till they were ready (although after watching them help me
and Jodi I felt they were ready).  Well today they arrived and got plugged in
teaching hehe! And they loved it and so did the students and me.  So It was
great. L had a private tutor to get caught up to speed and the Srey Nith could
take over the rest of the beginners. Michael brought a test to test Ravis level
and the new guy will probably need it tomorrow.   We couldnt fit everyone in the
car even with people sitting in each others laps and hehe! It was just so
awesome and I just felt such a love for the kids and the girls.  I loved it.  I
didnt mind dropping them all off at their respective homes and oh! J
things are great.


Training is great, the center is growing and I have
great help.  Everything is just in such good hands.  Now I just need prayer for
my next topic presentation! I love God!!!   The next few weeks I have 3 3  hour
sessions so pray for that!


God really has been watching over everything.  I
needed to pay my electricity bill and my nice moto-driver offered to do it.  He
was worried I wouldnt make it after training. But I did and he even exchanged
money for me.  So next time I know I can send him while I train and trust him!
Hes good with math. 


I love God!!!  Was able to help someone with their
fathers health today too.  I am just so happy God had me become a doctor.  There
is so much that I can do to help people because of it! Praise God!

God is great! So no matter what, God is there, all we have to do is turn our eyes on Him.  After all He is in control and He does all things.
So the girls came to teach today.  They were awesome! I am so excited. They were so happy and I am so happy and everyone was happy! We went to happy holidays again and if I understood right, 2 people will come tomorrow. I really really hope they come. pray for them.  I want God to bless them!
The day overall was busy busy busy.  I am pretty tired and glad it is tuesday.  Tomorrow is the training and then I can concentrate on next week's lesson. 
God is great how he works thigns out. I was supposed to meet with someone after the training tomorrow and I was wondering when I would pay my electricity bill and they just cancelled so tomorrow I can do it! I love how God works things out!!
God really is in control! :)

So hehe! God is sooo good! So on friday I found out about 3 girls who might want to help! And so today as I left class I was thinking I want to talk to them, did I understand right, I wonder what will happen.  I come to Gateway Cafe with Jodi and as soon as I enter the gateway group sees me and apparently they had just been talking about the outreach I recommended last friday. So they asked me if I am available on saturday to do the outreach.  And it's all set! YAY! they worked around my schedule!
So God today worked out so many things that I was wondering about the last few days! I just really really really love how He works!
So I was thinking I need help and I want more teachers and helpers and I walk into gateway and the girls come down. They have been praying for an opportunity like this and I have been praying for this and God brought up together! While we were talking the person the pastor I met on friday at the gateway meeting calls and says she can come over to gateway.  She isn't sure she wants to work with us but she is going to help me get simple reading books and things that I have been wondering about and she is going to help get english tests!! Michael and I were just talking about that as we left class today!!  Talk about God immediately answering prayers!! 
Jodi is simply amazing.  The stuff she has already put together and the efficiency she works with is awesome. I really like her and feel so blessed God brought her here!
So basically God is the best!
Everything is just falling into place. 6 months of nothing and then boom, boom, boom! YAY! God is great!! SUPER, FANTASTIC!!!!

Yesterday I felt like I was getting nothing done, but chalked it up to God's will cause there was no electricity, my Iphone was down to 1% charge, my computer wasn't charged enough to work on and it as too hot to drive or bike anywhere. So i painted, played the guitar and prayed and 8 hours later the electricity came back and hehe! I couldn't have even made everything happen the way it did today if I had tried! God is awesome and great!

God is a good God. During class I discovered why one
of the girls in the beginning class was so good at her abcs.  Cause she can
actually read!!! I moved her up to the advanced class J But she may be behind.  We need more teachers!!! Pray
for teachers please! So after class Friday went shopping for Vaseline. So many
things to think about.  So I was teaching on wound care and said we could
substitute Vaseline for antibiotic cream.  But they were confusing it for
Vaseline lotion.  Hehe! The other group had told me they knew what I was talking
about and so I asked them where to get it after the director assured me we were
talking about Vaseline jelly and hehe! NO, I went to two of those stores and
they dont have it J So everyone will have to buy
antibiotic cream J  The bad thing in Cambodia is
that the antibiotic cream comes with hydrocortisone and antifungal medication as
well.  Such a waste and its just creating resistance.  Useless or potentially
harmful meds should be banned for the good of the world population. J



After that had a conversation with Miho and we did a
bible study. It was great! I love my skype bible studies with her.  Shes one of
the rare people in Japan who is an independent thinker who loves God.  She sees
stuff like it is and isnt afraid to call it out and I love it.  And yet she is
so humble.  J  Shes gotten so good as questioning
she makes me back up and prove what I am saying hehe! I love it! :)


After that I was kind of bored.  So I finished a
painting.  I had been thinking I wanted to change it from the original from the
moment I started painting, but was going to stick with it as it was, but when I
looked at my finished product, hated it and changed it to what I had originally
thought. I think I have improved a lot as a painter.  Not so stiff any more.
Hehe! Of course the process of painting with these paints was horrible. :) But I am starting to get the hang of it. About to
start on my second picture and its from my head :)

Watched Arthur Christmas and the perfect Barbie
Christmas and it was great. Work up on Saturday feeling well rested after a very
busy week.  Actually was in go go go mode and so initially for 1 hour didnt know
what to do with myself.  But then calls, emails etc started happening that I
wasnt able to do everything before church started.  We had a bigger turnout than
I expected and it was fun, but I went way too long.  Those of you who know me,
know when I start talking about God I cant stop and so although the message was
super short, I kept talking and talking hehe! One kid was falling asleep. One
girl was bored from the moment we started because she doesnt speak or understand
any English so didnt enjoy even the singing.  :)  
But we made a few changes.  Michael now says the song line in khmer as I sing in
English and for Open the Eyes of my Heart, he actually sang the lines out so we
sounded pretty good :) heheh! Or a whole lot
better.  I singing without a guitar. Reminds me of the olden day prayer meetings
my family used to have.


Then I went to see Spider man in 3D!!! Kettle corn
popcorn, motodop home and all in $10.  Heheh! I have decided to do fun things
every weekend to help me be able to focus and not burn out! :) 
Im glad I brought extra money with me this time :)  
Came back from the movie ready to work!   I love how breaks help us so much!! :)
So I today, although its Sunday , unless
something happens, I will be working away after church :)
