God is awesome! Started the day with playing the guitar and practicing. I am horrible, but now that I have cut my nails, it helps. :)
After talking to Nolan, I cleaned the house. it feels so good to walk barefoot again! :) Now i just have to clean my room and the house is going to look great! I even did the stairs :)
I got done and the electricity was gone, so showered in the dark and prayed that the electricity would be back by the time I was done so that I could have some fan action before church started.
Had just enough time to eat and 2 of the 3 boys came. I had written out songs in the morning and sent them to Michael to print out and so we sang and then from there talked about grace - using pastor Tom's famous stories to explain it. I take no credit for these stories but love them!!
Say someone came and shot your brother. You and your family got together and caught the guy and shot and killed him. That is vengeance
Same story but this time instead of going after the guy you go to the police and he gets caught and gets life in prison. That is justice
Same story and after the police catches him, you go to all your neighbors and friends and collect money and then hire the best lawyer in the world, BUT you do it for the criminal who killed your brother. The lawyer is so good that he gets criminal off without any jail time and then you invite the person into your house to live with you as your brother. That is GRACE. That is what God did for us!
Talked about my testimony and how God wants to have a relationship with us and not be up there far away and how he really cares and plays a part in our daily life and big decisions and shared about my pastor's stories and how God told him he'd be a pastor at age 13, lead him to join the army so he just missed the draft and was placed in a safe island because of that during ww2 and how he met his wife there and how later God led him to buy a gold mine.
God's awesome!
Anyways, they shared their lives and as they did, just couldn't help but feel there is soooo much to be done in this country. The possibilities are endless. According to IJM the reason most of the girls end up in prostition or beer gardens is a medical illness in the family. There are so many clinics we could open, and trainign we could do. There is soooo much that can be done! God just has to do it!!!
AFter that I have been relaxing and reading my book! Gotto love kindles. God is sooo good. Tomorrow should be busy and the week is full of training and prep. pray for us. we are going to do an outreach again tomorrow and ask the girls to come monday!
God Bless!!!!
