God
is an awesome God! Nolan just left, which was sad! There is sooo much to do! My
family has picked an awesome venue and now I gotto figure out clothes etc So questions arise. Do I fly to
india for a short trip to plan stuff. I have so much to do!
So we did our second outreach for the center yesterday.
We tried to go to beer gardens but everyone was closed for khmer new year
so we went for a massage. I knew of a good place that has no “clients” but it
was closed and we asked Michael to take us home, but Michael being Michael
wanted to make all our desires come true so we ended up at a place.
We walked in and went upstairs.
Three of us together! But since it was a foot massage I didn’t care. We got upstairs and it was a shady
shady place. The walls were painted red. The room was dimly
lit. Michael started talking to the girls and they work from 9am to midnight. They all came from the province. Their dreams are to start a business. They get two days off a month. They have no skills. They want their lives to change but
have no options. They openly stated they have clients if they want. They get paid 50 dollars + tips and get room and board.
We gave out our cards and offered the free medical care. Don’t see how they can avail themselves to anything else.
Pray for them and for us.
I’m excited about getting done with my first aid curriculum. Now it’s onto women’s health. I think with everything
being closed for the next few days I will get a lot of work done!!
I bought some movies a couple of days ago to go with my new tv
until I get cable after new years eve. Gotto get my brakes fixed for my car too! I’m excited.
