God is sooo good! So yesterday I came to the rheas to hang out. I was missing humanity since this weekend I spent most of my time alone.
Ok, I did hang out with the rheas Friday night but we were all so dead. After the wonderful worship or should I say bible study that I really needed we watched a movie and I basically worked the whole time and then went home. Saturday I had a meeting with someone bright and early but I was so wired from all the work I did Friday that I couldn’t sleep. I left the rheas after 12:30am and didn’t sleep till after 1.
Was up bright and early at 6 for my 8am meeting which went extremely well. I didn’t get much done all day but went over for the Saturday night prayer time with the rheas. I love that they just started it this week. I really needed.
The rest of the weekend I stayed at home! I watched Star Wars 1-3! I think the movies get better each time. I didn’t like 1 at all the first time but this time it wasn’t so bad :) Amazing what boredom and forced rest does to you J Took naps and just
relaxed except for studying my Khmer.
Monday class was great and it looks like we are going to have extra classes because we are way behind schedule.
I am thinking of just hiring a private tutor. I think we’ll go a lot faster that way. I’m so bad, I always want to get my money’s worth and so asked the teacher very nicely if we would finish our book and he said that we’d do an extra class on
Saturday. I love how invested the teacher is!
So I went to the rheas and everyone was so happy. Monichea was telling me she was invited to a birthday party on Friday but
she decided to turn down the person because it is the night I come over. Sad but so sweet. Today I am supposed to tutor Mali. I
miss the family.
So there have been a lot of things on my mind. A lot of things to get ironed out, but one by one God is working it all out and it’s wonderful! I love to see God at work. Last week like every week was super busy. There were 1-2 days I left the house at 7 and didn't come home till after 8pm. Off to a meeting now.
I’ll share more after my meeting in a few minutes once things are more
concrete.
So I went to Michael’s English class and was using my khmer and felt so proud of myself till the end of class where I just had to laugh because what I wrote was wrong! hehe! Oh well, at least I had the right idea, it was an exception
letter and so hehe! At least there is progress. Today in Khmer class I actually could form sentences.
In another week the teams start coming! AHHHH! But I am excited at the same time. This time there will be things to do for my volunteer’s right at our center and for Save Each One. I won’t be outsourcing them, but actually using them to do a lot of work. I love how God changes things in an instant. I had my board meeting 2 weeks ago friday and was saying how we are stuck in a holding postion because I couldn't find a good sustainable model and that weekend I prayed and spent time with God and last week and this week things are just falling into place in an incredible manner and so fast! I am so excited. Pray for us please. So many decisions to make and yet it's sooo exciting.
Ok, so I just got back with my meeting from Chabdai and it looks like it’s almost official, I will be their medical advisor! We’ll get to help sooo many people! I am super excited and there is so much more on the horizon! Pray for us please.
