Month 3 continues

3/2/2012

It's been a long time since I wrote, but things are good.  There have been a lot I have been thinking about and I have been super busy, but this past weekend, I finally took time and just prayed.  I haven't done that in a long time and it was so good.  Thursday night a week ago was my first night alone in cambodia! I loved having the teams over.  Of course Joey, Haley and Kaley and then the last minute trip that Bily made.  I loved having them here.  True missionaries - they cleaned my entire house and even when I wouldn't buy them the stuff to do it because I didn't want them to, they went and got the stuff themselves.  While the girls were doing that, Joey put mosquito nets on most of my windows so despite the heat (it's over 90 degrees these days) it is still cool in the house early in the morning. :) Praise God! when Bily came, I wondered how the days would pass, but he was gone before he even came :(  The last day was jam packed and in true missionary style we did everything last minute. Museum, lunch, shopping, shortened massage, packing like crazy, flat tire and finally making it to the airport just in time! :)  As much as I loved having everyone over, I was sooooo tired by the time everyone left.  I had my board meeting the next day was still pretty dead, but I took the weekend off to spend time with God .
The team bought me a guitar! I love it!!! Simply love it!!! So I spent time on my guitar.  My fingers hurt! I really need to practice and build up my callouses again :) I got to spent time reading the bible, singing and just spending time with God and amazingly everything that seemed not too hopeful seemed to be straightened out in my mind and this week was full of wonderful suprises and things working out! I met up with prison fellowship. I used to work with prisoners in america and the highlight of the philippines medical missions has always been the prisons.  One of my dreams has been to work with the prisoners and so I was excited to get to meet up with prison fellowship.  Well they had another organization for me to meet and this group is called One2One and they are amazing.  They have accomplished a lot in a very short time and we are thinking of partnering in some way.  So please keep that in prayer as we figure things out.
I have been wanting to meet with a group here called Bloom. They started a cupcake business that helps sex trafficking victims and I didn't know how to get an in, but I went to a Chabdai meeting and they introduced me and the founder of bloom is sitting near me and hands me a card and I was there today helping them with their medical processes and figuring out what they need.  I love how God does that. Every time I want to meet an organization, God makes it happen :)
I met up with a business consultant who seems to think we are on the right track and it's interesting because although the first 2 months was full of people say don't do this or that, now all my meetings are so positive! I love it
So there are a lot of options and decisions to make for this month that will determine how Save Each One proceeds so please be praying for us.
I got home after 7 and went over to the Rheas.  They had just decided to start doing friday night devotions and I walked in right after they started.  It was such a blessing!!! In fact things I have been thinking about and struggling with God made clear.  I loved the time there. I had been planning eat before I left, but just wanted to get there and what a pleasant surprise!! God is sooo good.  He really knows just what we need.  They are such an awesome family and I am sooo blessed to be a part of their life.  They are so real and hanging out with them is like being with my family.  God is sooo good!
So my next set of visitors arrive on the 17th.  Pray for me!
love you all and thank you for your support!
