Day 24

1/4/2012

God is good! Each day is different and full of unexpected blessings.  So I have been trying to get a hold of this missionary couple that I have been in touch with off and on with for a couple of years. We never met but they found I was in Cambodia and messaged me.  I thought I would have to wait till Michael came back from Vietnam, but they told me they lived down the street from where I am living! No one lives here! Everyone says it's way to far so :).  With all the hospitalizations it has been difficult to meet them, but we finally met yesterday.  I thought it would be a 1-2 hour meeting, but it ended up being a 4 hour meeting and me leaving cause I had to teach Michael's english class.  So the lady I worked with (the first time I went into the brothels) ended up coming over! It was incredible. She had a lot of insight to share and it was great.  She lives around here too! Infact she goes to this couple's church.  So I am blessed :)  Michael had been telling me to contact her and I just hadn't felt like it! heheh! God obviously wanted us to meet and talk!

On a different note, I love how God protects, loves and equips us :) So I was a horrible bicycle rider.  When I was in Japan I borrowed someone's bike and was doing great until I got on a narrow sidewalk and saw someone coming 50-100ft away.  They were very far but in my mind they were really close and I panicked and my bike fell with me into a ditch. hehe! :) It was pretty hilarious.  This was just this last year :) Here of course I haven't been able to find a cheap car, so I had to get a bicycle.  So today I was amazed at my bicycling skill. I was able to to nearly stop and stay on my bike, ride through tough terrain, go between a truck on one side and an car on another, turn into traffic and merge into whatever I needed to without any issues.  :) Also, someone showed me how to unlock the parking break so I won't look like a fool the next time I park my bike and can't get the stand off heheh! :) But really, my skill amazes me! Really and truly, nothing is impossible with God! :)

I am going to post some pics and hopefully it will work this time :)  It didn't work, so check out facebook, I added photos there! will caption them after I get back from the english class!
